A new era of collaborative experimentation enabled by multi-cloud and AI foundation models

Abstract

Two major technology shifts are accelerating the pace toward the lab of the future: Hybrid multi-cloud computing and AI foundation models. Hybrid multi-cloud computing will transform how labs of the future operate by seamlessly integrating data and applications across heterogeneous IT environments and multiple private and public clouds, while AI foundation models will introduce a paradigm shift in how lab research is captured, documented and planned. This presentation highlights how these technologies help create the lab that learns, an AI-enabled lab for a new era of reproducible and collaborative experimentation.
