Research Background:
My research work has explored various sub-fields in artificial intelligence. In machine learning, I explored energy aware and distributed training algorithms for artificial neural networks and support vector machines in supervised and unsupervised learning paradigms. I applied these machine learning algorithms to various applications in computer vision, natural language processing, seismic data analysis, humanitarian computing and multi-agent systems. In multi-agent systems, I have worked on coalition formation for smart mobility applications such as autonomous package delivery problem, decision making models including Markov decision processes, transfer learning and deep learning in reinforcement learning domains.
