Bio

I am a Senior Research Engineer at IBM Research India. I belong to the Data & AI Platforms research group.

I have obtained B.Tech(Computer Science & Engineering) degree with University 2nd Rank from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh in 2004. And I have obtained M.S (by Research) in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Madras in 2006. Before joining IBM Research India, I was working at Symantec, Pune from Jul-2006 to Oct-2010. I have joined IBM Research India, Bangalore in Oct-2010.

I am co-inventor of 45+ Granted US Patents, and 20+ other patent applications filed at USPTO.

I have received IBM Invention Plateau 18 in December 2023.

I have served as the Chairperson - Invention Committee (IDT Lead) of IBM Research India, during the year 2019.

I am appointed as IBM Master Inventor effective from 1-Oct-2019 (re-appointed effective from 1-Oct-2022).

I have obtained Client Value Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (CV-OTAA) for my contributions to the "Statiol FOAK - Turnaround Management" project in October 2015, for my contributions to the "PG&E Resource Positioner - Resource planning for service restoration in emergencies" project in October 2017, and for my contributions to the "P&G Blockchain based carrier e-invoicing" project in June 2019. CV-OTAA is a IBM enterprise recognition award.

I have obtained Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA) for my contributions to the IBM Research Accomplishment project work "Utility innovations to embrace sustainability & climate change" in April 2019, for my contributions to the "IBM Blockchain Invoicing for TradeLens (BITL)" project in January 2020, and for my contributions to the IBM Research Accomplishment project work "Research technologies for Token Infrastructure and Blockchain Interoperability and Their Applications to CBDC Systems" in June 2023. OTAA is a IBM enterprise recognition award.

I have been recognized for my contributions to IBM's Technical Collaboration Achievement Program (TCAP) as a Significant Contributor of the Open-Source project Hyperledger Cacti in October 2023. TCAP is a IBM enterprise program.

I have obtained Research Division Award (RDA) for my contributions to the project "Research Contribution to Business Contingency Management" in June 2013, and for my contributions to the project "Strategic Network Design and Analysis" in April 2016. RDA is a IBM Research division recognition award.
