Kasper Dinkla

Bio

Kasper Dinkla is a research engineer at IBM Research, Zurich and focuses on user interface design and engineering. He is part of the Scalable Knowledge Ingestion group, which is responsible for the Deep Search platform.

Prior to joining IBM Research, Kasper developed user interfaces at ASML, to support the configuration and evaluation of error measurement and control algorithms for lithography equipment in the semiconductor industry.

Kasper holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. His doctoral thesis introduced interactive visualization techniques for modular structures in biological networks. As a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University he continued his research into interactive visualizations for image data from high-throughput drug screenings.
