Treemaps for workload visualization

The use of the treemaps to present the state of work in a grid or other distributed computing environments was discussed. The treemaps presentation of multidimensional data supported more intutive and creative tasks. The heterogeneous workload manager (HWLM) prototype was built to provide feedback on design choices for future IBM products implementing the open grid services architecture (OGSA).
