Numerical solution to an inextensible plate theory with experimental results

Abstract

A numerical and experimental study of the Simmonds-Libai (1979) plate theory is presented in this paper. This concerns the large, inextensional, noncylindrical bending of cantilevered plates. © 1986 by ASME.
