GeoMM'12: ACM international workshop on geotagging and its applications in multimedia

Geotagging is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media files such as photos, videos, websites, messages, and tweets. It is not limited to GPS sensor data but an extension of current multimedia files with a wide variety of location-specific information. The GeoMM'12 workshop presents research on recent research on geotagging within the context of multimedia analysis. This workshop aims to not only provide more cutting edge algorithms, but also motivate novel applications in this promising field. © 2012 Authors.
