Design and delivery practices of the summer school on services computing

Services Computing has been recognized as a newfoundational discipline of the modern services industry.The Technical Committee on Services Computing (TCSVC)within IEEE Computer Society is leading aninitiative to promote Services Computing educationaround the world. This paper reports 2008 SummerSchool on Services Computing (Summer School), as acase study and pilot project of the initiative. We presentthe design and delivery practices of Summer School, aswell as experiences and lessons learned from theprogram. © 2008 IEEE.
