120Gb/s VCSEL based parallel optical transmitter and custom 120Gb/s testing station
Abstract
A 120Gb/s, 12 channel parallel optical transmitter using 850nm VCSELs over 300m of fiber is described. All channels operate simultaneously, driven by a custom-built low cost 120Gb/s test station. Error free operation with margin is confirmed.
