Tanwi Biswas is a research scientist at IBM Research - Tokyo. She is working with Biomedical Discovery research team to build genetic foundation model for target gene discovery.
She received a Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2023 for her work on medical image processing with Generative AI. Currently, she is conducting research on single cell RNA sequence data analysis using AI.
Her research interest includes AI in healthcare, RNA sequence data analysis, machine learning, deep learning and Generative AI.
