Shelly Garion

I am a member of the Quantum Computing team since January 2019 and a contributer to Qiskit open-sourse.

I joined IBM Haifa Research Labs on August 2014 to become a research staff member at the Cloud Platforms department. I have been performing operational analytics (AIops) using BigData analytics open-source tools such as Apache Spark and Machine Learning algorithms in the context of Cloud Object Storage. 

I have a B.Sc. of 'Talpiot' program in Mathematics and Physics (1998), a M.Sc. in Mathematics (2003) and a Ph.D. in Mathemtics (2009), all obtained at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

I served as a Senoir Algorithms Researcher at the IDF (Communication Corps) during 1998-2004.

I have been a postdoctoral researcher at several distinguished research institutes and universities around Europe: the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in Bonn (Germany), the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques in Bures-sur-Yvette (France) and at Universität Münster (Germany).
