Oliver Ottow

Oliver Ottow is a Research Innovation Leader at the IBM Innovation Studio and Think Lab Europe, located at IBM Research Europe - Zurich (Switzerland).

He is a passionate Innovation- and Transformation Leader with a deep knowledge in Research & Innovation, Change Management, People & Culture, and Consulting. In his current role, Oliver interacts with business executives from various industries and companies around the world. As Research ambassador, he discusses with them use cases of the latest innovation trends, such as Quantum Computing, Hybrid Cloud, AI & Accelerated Discovery.

Oliver holds degree in industrial engineering from the Technical University Berlin and has more than 20 years of experience in global and regional leadership roles. Prior to this role, he worked as Innovation Leader, HR Director, Senior Consultant, Head of Talent Acquisition, Project Manager and was leading global teams of up to 250 experts. Beside working for PwC, PwC Consulting and Kongsberg Automotive, Oliver spent most of his career in different parts of IBM. He is teaching at several Universities, Business Schools and gives keynote expert talks to external audiences. On top of his regular work, he is engaged in social projects and has spent some time with NGOs in India and Nepal.
