Bio

I am a scientist working in the theme of AI enrich simulation and accelerated discovery at IBM Research, based in Hursely UK. I received a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London where I studied the physics of battery and fuel cell electrodes through DFT and AIMD simulation. I received the both the Thomas Young Centre@Imperial award for demonstrating the most important and innovative contribution to research in the Theory and Simulation of Materials, and the Emma Warriss Prise for Establishing a Fun and Cohesive Environment. I also carried out research in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where my work focused on continuum modelling and mathematical inversions using Gaussian processes. I am the first author of seven peer reviewed publications from work at Imperial College London and MIT.
