Luis Garces-Erice

Professional Biography

I am a RSM (Research Staff Member) at IBM Research Laboratory Zurich in the Cognitive Computing & Industry Solutions department.

I obtained my MSc in Telecommunications Engineering (EE+CS) in the Public University of Navarra (Spain). I worked as a research engineer and obtained my PhD from Télécom Paris University (France) working at Institut EURECOM.

I am a reviewer for several international journals and conferences.

My research interests are mainly in operating systems, distributed systems, network protocols, middleware and event-based systems.
