Kanthi Sarpatwar

I am a research staff member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland (College Park). Prior to this, I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras).

My research interests broadly lie in the area of algorithms. In recent years, I have focused a good part of my time on privacy-preserving machine learning. I have published in over 20 reputed journals and conferences in the area of computer science. Further, my work has led to over 15 patent filings with the USPTO.
