Our Mission
IBM PhD Fellowship Award promote research, innovation, and the building of social, scientific, and technology-based collaboration with universities. The award programs are designed to support a spectrum of university needs: The highly competitive IBM PhD Fellowship Awards provide funding for PhD students in the final years of their PhD program.
The IBM PhD Fellowship Awards are nominated through a faculty member at the university to recognize and support exceptional PhD students.
How to Engage
IBM PhD Fellowship Awards
For these awards, professors submit nominations in response to solicited, published program announcements. Eligibility requirements and objectives for the program are included in the tab above.
IBM Faculty Awards
These awards support the success of collaborations between university faculty and internal IBM nominators. Nominations for these awards are initiated by an IBM employee, who will assume the role of technical contact, work the nomination through the vetting process, and actively participate if the nomination is successful.
