The theoretical calculations for the thermal conductivity of a wide range of potential gap materials were presented. It was found that the thermal conductivity reduction in polycrystalline films is due to the intra-gain defects. The thermal conductivities of the dielectric film with thickness of the order 100A were measured using a two-step approach.
