Risk Analysis for Eliminating Billing Dispute
Abstract
There are many complexities associated with pricing and revenue management of service contracts. Billing for these contracts is one such challenging task as the usage of services may not be uniform, leading to disputes or risks of exhausting the signed amount. To address this challenge, we developed a risk analytics model that uses historical billing patterns of clients, together with contract and services usage details, and performs risk analysis on potential disputes. We illustrate our approach with some promising preliminary results on data of one of the world’s largest IT service providers.
