Raman study of the facet temperature time evolution of coated AlGaAs single quantum well lasers
Abstract
The paper describes the facet heating of AlxGa1-xAs single quantum well coated lasers, during and after the initial period of rapid degradation. Raman spectra were taken of the laser facets at various time intervals and facet temperatures determined from Stokes/anti-Stokes peak intensities.
