Pulse Width Transfer Function of Tellurium -Alloy Disks

Abstract

The pulse width transfer function of a Te-alloy optical disk is measured for a wide range of write laser powers and disk velocities. It is shown that a simple model can provide a quantitative explanation of the data. © 1983 SPIE.
