Mapping procedure to match hysteresis loops from models to experimental results

Abstract

A procedure is described for altering the shape of hysteresis loops obtained from a model while preserving the proper nesting of major and minor loops. The technique is called mapping. Some typical results obtained from mapping are shown and discussed.
