Liquid crystal displays backlit with LEDs
Abstract
Recent LED technology makes all-solid-state illumination of flat panel liquid crystal display efficiently enough to be comparable to that with fluorescent lamps. Our recent development of liquid crystal displays backlit with LEDs is described.
