Stress-strain data have been obtained for highly conducting, molecular-macromolecular composites of composition Ni(Pc)I//y/(x)Kevlar, where x and y are respective mole ratios. The modulus of the Ni(Pc)(I//y)/Kevlar materials is affected only slightly at low Ni(Pc)I//y content (Ni(Pc)I//1//. //2/4 . 8 Kevlar equals 5. 8 GPa), but at higher Pc content falls by about 1/3. As the mole fraction of the Ni(Pc)I//y phase increases, elongation-to-break drops, and the fibers become increasingly fragile.
