Comparison of Monte Carlo and HNC/MSA excess charge adsorption isotherms for an electrical double layer containing divalent ions
Abstract
An excess charge adsorption isotherm for a 2:1 electrolyte is calculated from the recent Monte Carlo data of Torrie and Valleau. The errors in the Gouy-Chapman isotherms are even larger than indicated by the HNC/MSA calculations. © 1983 American Chemical Society.
