Building Mission Critical AI applications

Abstract

In the last decade, not a day has gone by when you did not see or hear something about AI. Since ChatGPT made its debut in late 2022, the excitement in the technical community hit a fever pitch and every organization, large and small, is being compelled to do something with AI. Many organizations have tried various proofs-of-concept, yet the actual deployment of AI in mission critical applications has been slow due to concerns about its trustworthiness and maintenance. Since all machine learning algorithms look to find statistical patterns in the training data, selection and proper use of the data are paramount to the success of the AI applications. The choice of the task to be performed by the AI critically depends on the relevant business processes, the quality and quantity of available data, expectations of the relevant stakeholders, and their risk tolerance. This talk will present a holistic approach to help organizations decide how best to apply current AI technology to meet your mission objectives.
