Board to board Optical interconnect for server applications

Abstract

We prototyped a waveguide based board to board optical interconnect system including 10 Gbps parallel optical transmitters and receivers, high line density waveguide and parallel optical connectors to evaluate optical interconnect technology suitable for servers. © 2005 OSA.
