Schools, research institutes, and commercial companies are utilizing services universities (SU) to systematically deliver skills scale-up model course and training programs, which include training content based on the body of knowledge (BoK). The training material of these models are delivered through three types of SUs such as the Summer Schools on Services Computing, Fall School on Services Computing, and Online Services University. The topics covered in the course include basic concepts of service and services computing, services and services systems, SOA, business process, and integration and management. The two-day skills scale-up model course helps professors quickly understand the important areas in the field and teaches graduate students and practitioners the latest methodologies for modernizing a service business.
